County Park Facilities
County Recreation Programs

Carteret County manages 13 parks and 3 County school ball fields, ranging in size from 1 to 31 acres, located from Sea Level to Cedar Point, totaling approximately 200 acres. To find out which amenities are available at each park go to our Parks Facilities page.

Carteret County Parks and Recreation runs primarily adult athletic and recreation programs on its fields, often partnering with other agencies and organizations. For details on current programs and annual program calendars go to our Athletics and/or Recreation Programs pages.

Team Sports for Adults

Adult Coed Soccer and Adult Coed Kickball both begin playing September 19 & 21. Go to our Athletics page for registration and additional information.

Tuesday at the Movies

The Beaufort branch of the Public Library and Parks & Recreation are sponsoring an afternoon movie for kids & their adults on Aug 10th & 24th. See the Movie Program flyer for more information.

Exercise Classes

New Core and More, starting July 29, and Therapeutic Yoga, starting August 17, in the program room at 1702 Live Oak Street. For additional information go to our Recreation Program page.
